Bay Area’s Head Over Heels Athletic Arts gymnastics organization congratulates Kaitlyn Lentz for her success in the recent 2012 Junior Olympic Western National Championship.
Head Over Heels Athletic Arts—an organization in the Bay Area that provides training in recreational, special needs and competitive gymnastics—congratulates Kaitlyn Lentz for winning the recently concluded 2012 Junior Olympic Western National Championship. Lentz received the all-around and balance beam titles in the Junior D level.
“It was a great win. Going into the final event she needed the routine of her life and she delivered under incredible pressure,” Katreece Roberts, executive director and head team coach of Head Over Heels Athletic Arts, said. “We are extremely proud of her accomplishment.”
For her achievements, the she has earned a spot at the National Team Center in Texas’ Karolyi Ranch, an elite training camp where she will train with the Karolyi and national team coaches. Lentz will join the camp in November.
Lentz spends 25 hours per week at Head Over Heels Athletic Arts for her training, where she is given the opportunity to explore what her body is capable of. Like Lentz, Head Over Heels Athletic Arts helps all students in its gymnastics classes improve their quality of life by helping them achieve their individual athletic goals while instilling a lifelong love of being physically active.
