Scholarship Program

All families are also strongly encouraged to check their local community agencies for scholarships in addition to those that may be provided by HOH. Please allow a month of processing to receive a notification.

The scholarship application will remain open until all funds are distributed.

Purpose: To provide a one time summer camp scholarship to Bay Area children. Scholarship awardees must commit to attending summer camp for the duration of one week. The retail value of the scholarship is $595. Assistance may not be applied to previously purchased camp weeks.

Criteria: 

• Applicant’s child must be between the ages of 4 – 12.
• Applicant’s child must have an interest in pursuing athletic and/or fitness achievements.
• Families must be in good standing with the HOH administration.

Application Process: 

• Complete application
• ALL questions must be answered. Please read the application carefully and thoroughly. If some sections are incomplete, your application will not be considered.
• Restrictions: Awardees must attend all days of camp, arriving on time and being picked up on time. Camp begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:30 PM, with complementary extended care from 8:30 to 9:00 AM and 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Once your week is assigned to you, there are NO makeups or switching weeks of camp. Failure to do so will result in the loss of a scholarship.
• A $100 administration fee will be applied upon enrollment.
