Cha started working with Head Over Heels in 2012 as a camp and birthday coach. After she finished graduate school in 2013, she joined full time designing and managing the HOH website. She has since become the Digital Media and Design Director, handling all things marketing, advertising, and technology.
While not a gymnast, she has many accomplishments in combat sports. She trains in Brazilian jiu jitsu, boxing, weightlifting, climbing, and MMA several times a week. Some of her accomplishments in these sports include:
- blackbelt in Brazilian jiu jitsu under Jean Jacques Machado
- black belt in a freestyle martial arts
- owner and head coach of Misfit Combat
- 2022 first place in IBJJF No-Gi World Championship
- 2018 first place in Oxnard Boxing Tournament
- 2018 second place in IBJJF No-Gi Worlds Championship
- 2017 second place in Oxnard Boxing Tournament
- Has fought 3 times in a professional BJJ promotion
- Organizer of Onesie Worlds Championship
- Won many many Brazilian Jiu Jitsu medals
She enjoys traveling and taking landscape photography, as well as watching lots of television and reading lots of books mainly in the fantasy and sci-fi genres.
